New Addiction
I've been reading the blog "Trainer Momma" www.trainermomma.blogspot.com and she led me to the above mentioned website that I started using yesterday. I type in everything I eat and not only does it keep track of my calories but it lets me know my recommended cholesterol intake, sodium intake, protein intake, etc. and where I'm at in each of those areas. I even passed up brownies and potato chips that people were offering me today because I didn't want to input it into the computer. Please try it out. This is definitely going to help me keep the word of wisdom better and learn how to monitor my portion sizes and keep my body healthy longer and drive my husband nuts. (I told him I won't bug him about portion sizes, etc. that it's just for me unless he gets interested.)

This sounds like an interesting idea- since I have to keep better track of what I eat (I *really* don't want to have to take insulin shots anytime soon), this might be a great way to do so- funny how we get a lot more self-conscious about those things when we know someone else will be keeping track, too?
I hope it helps you with any goals you've set for yourself (and that you don't really drive your husband crazy :)

I saw your "Cloudy" post. We watched that one for a movie night a few weeks back. Our kids loved it. Still talking about it. Glad you liked it too.
I've been reading that blog too! Isn't it funny that we came across the same one. I can't even remember how I found it, but I like it!
Hey Ashlee! I haven't read that blog you referred to, but my sister-in-law turned me on to the Daily Plate a year or so ago and I used it for awhile. It is awesome and makes it sooo easy to keep track of what you're eating. I really liked it.
