We decided to take a trip to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival to celebrate our birthdays.
One of our stops was the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. The light exhibit was my favorite part...here's us in infrared. Can you tell who's who? Did you know you emit infrared, too?
Jason could have stayed there all day looking at the airplanes (including this Amelia Earheart jewel). I finally convinced him to explore other parts of the city.
This time I went to the White House and instead of just driving by it with my dad pointing out, "Hey, look, there's the White House," we got up close and personal. They were even preparing for an Easter egg hunt.
Favorites:
1. Visiting my dear high school friend Mindy and spouse and 2 children:).
2. Riding around Washington D.C. at night on our bikes.
3. Mt. Vernon. I heart George Washington.

Happy Birthday Ash! So sorry I missed it. I am terrible. I love your pics from DC. Don't you just love that city?!! It is my favorite of all-time and I really miss going there as often as I used to. And I LOVE Mt. Vernon! Isn't it the most beautiful place ever? I just want to sit out on that back porch on a summer evening and read a book and watch the beautiful Potomac. That would be the life!
