Summer Reads

I actually listened to this one on CD while driving. My mom loved it, my dad loved it, and my brother loved it. It gives interesting insights into why some people are so successful, and it's not just about hard work (your birth date is important, your genealogy, etc. etc.) It has given me lots to think about this summer. A fun and interesting read!
LOVE this book and LOVE Laura Ingraham! It gives you some practical ways of helping to make a difference in your community and much, much more. I'm still referring to the book as I see what's going on in our country.

I didn't want this book to end. I fell in love with John Adams. We need to have more monuments to him. He and Abigail were virtuous and hard working and had incredible vision and influence in this country. My FAVORITE founding father right now. Do you see it also won the Pulitzer Prize?

I just finished reading this one. It was okay. It was LONG and a bit depressing and I think the name should have included Konstantin Levin since he seemed to be the second main character in the book.

Outliers is an interesting read for sure. You make me realize I need a favorite founding father. I don't believe I currently have one. :)
