While She Was Sleeping...
I (and probably my husband, too) thought it was high time I started doing stuff around the house, you know, like dishes, cleaning, etc. So I decided to try my friend Heather's idea. She picks one thing to do each day. Mondays could be laundry days. Tuesdays could be making bread days. Wednesdays could be dusting days. You get the picture, right? So, yesterday while my sweet baby was sleeping I did a couple loads of laundry. Today while she was sleeping I cleaned the kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms. Oh, and I posted on my blog. Hopefully I can keep up with this routine. It makes it less overwhelming! Hmmm, what should I pick for tomorrow? This could get exciting!

Ashlee she is precious. Can I babysit? Overnight her in the mail to me via FedEx.
Good luck with the balancing act! I'm 4 1/2 months in and still trying to figure out how to get everything done that I want to in a week! You're off to a great start though! (And she is just darling!!!)
Cute picture! Hmmm. Maybe I should try your idea. If the stars ever align just right and both the new baby and the big baby are sleeping, and brother is watching a short video, I take a nap instead of get stuff done. Way to be so productive!
Ashlee I am glad you are trying "the plan." The idea is to not feel like you have to do everything everyday-you just pick a few things to do a day and then once those are done you can do more if you wish or leave it until the next week. Seriously-it has saved my life. I just adjust as the girls get older and I don't wait until the kids are asleep necessarily to get it done. I tell them that Monday is cleaning day-it just has to be done so they have to play while I clean (and because I keep my list to the basics-it doesn't take that long). Sorry-I am just passionate about this. I hope it works. Just don't schedule too much each day-start small and work your way up.
