We decided to open our presents Christmas Eve since we had church the next morning, and I knew I couldn't wait until after to open presents. He he he he.
Uncle Travis learned how to knit a few weeks ago and gave Lily a scarf.
Lily's favorite part of the presents this season has been the bows. She stayed true to her passion during Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day: Grandma got a lucky break in Lily's action to rock her to sleep.
Christmas Evening: Checking out the nativity scene Jason's work put in the park for their "Keeping Christ in Christmas" campaign.
We also had to snap a shot of Mom with the menorah in the park as she used to celebrate Hanukkah with us when we were younger. We never had a menorah that big, though!
This tree is practically the same size and has the same decorations as the one in Rockefeller Center...just a lot less crowded!
Travis teaching me how to knit. He found a fun knitting store downtown and frequented it for help making mittens. The ladies there loved him and asked him to move here. I told them if they could give him an accounting job in their business he'd do it in heartbeat!
We visited a submarine in New London, CT.
We even got to go inside. I felt like I was in another Monk episode. (I'm sure you all remember the last time I felt like I was in a Monk episode LOL... the time we got stuck in traffic for an hour.)
Oh, yeah. Our favorite Christmas surprise this year was that Lily learned how to walk on Christmas Day. She's been taking steps for awhile, but on Christmas she figured it out.
We took a trip into Boston and rode the "T" again. Remember when we did this with Uncle Collin? Well, this time she was able to hold onto the pole all by herself to balance herself. Don't worry, we still spotted her.
We went to the Museum of Fine Arts. Lily got tired of just sitting in her stroller so she decided to stand in it half the time.
Kind of a cool artwork in their dining area.
Outside the art museum.
Uncle Travis' last day with us. Lily was sporting her U of U t-shirt to say goodbye. She was obviously pretty heartbroken he was leaving.

She's walking!! So fun. I love the drunken newly walking toddler walk. They look so cute.
ps-always jealous of the cool places visit and neat things to do where you live.
Ash, my only question is why ws travis knitting in your house with a heavy winter coat on and you have a t-shirt on? And congrats on having a walking baby- your life is never going to be the same.
