We lost our camera again for about a month, but found it tucked far inside our rocking chair. It was a story of a lost camera from Jason's mother about Jason's sister losing her camera in their rocking chair over Christmas that gave Jason the idea to check far into the recesses of our chair. (There were a lot of Jasons and chairs in that sentence.) Now I wonder what we might find in the chair at my Aunt and Uncle's in Utah. Perhaps we will have two cameras on our hand. Anyway, who cares about our camera misfortunes...onto the highlights!
What a perfect place to read to your baby. I wish I would have thought of this when Lily was younger.
Lily was pretty impressed with "Uncle Grizzly," as Jason affectionately dubbed Travis. Don't be fooled, though, the next morning she was saying his name over and over at breakfast. "Travis, travis, travis!"
Cute, cute Grace. Slow down, please, you are growing too fast.
Trying to sit on Grandma's shoulders to do hair.
Jason was not only the ward Santa but also became the family Santa, stuffing all our stockings late Christmas Eve.
I don't even know why I posted this picture. I look terrible and tired and my face looks a bit puffy. Everyone else looks great, though.
Trying to take a peaceful picture of Dad and Grace and look who photo bombs. (Jason said that's the new phrase.)
Ah, there we go.
Lily gives a thumbs up to my finally clean house. We practice this daily...not the clean house, the thumbs up:)

Looks like it was quite the delightful holiday for your charming little family! I hope that 2013 is an amazing year for all of you! :)
Ha, your kids are so cute. Grace looks a lot like a Miller. And what is up with trav?? Did everyone come out there for the holidays? When are you coming to Germany?!
Lol, yeah, the missing pictures in the chair. Actually, it was a flash drive that I'd just copied pictures to from my phone. I was meaning to be oh-so-careful with the flash drive until my portable hard drive arrived to copy the pictures to, and then it was just... gone! And I turned my parents' house upside-down looking for it! It was so ridiculous! And I DID look in the chair, but couldn't find it. And then Jordan - with his long fingers, I guess - was just sitting there, and he reaches down and says, "Is this it?" Crazy...
Similar thing happened with Omar's car keys. He left town and I spent three days looking for his car keys. Turns out they'd slipped down the cracks in the couch, and then somehow got under the center console of the couch where you can't see anything unless you actually lift the couch up. I'd almost totally given up on finding those!
So chairs and couches definitely can be troves of lost stuff that you think you'll never find.
(Oh, and missing sippy cups have driven me crazy a few times, only to turn up stashed BEHIND couches!)
