Not that we ever have a problem keeping things low key...

but I think Grace's birthday may have hit a very low key.

 We planted some daffodils.

 We went to Friendly's restaurant and let Grace suck on the outside of this cup of water.  She wouldn't stop.

 This picture is blurry but SO cute.  

I didn't even let her eat anything sweet.  Just some fries.

 And after we left we stopped at Toys R Us so I could pick up a couple gifts for her, which Lily quickly took possession of.

I think these are Chinese lanterns and they last a long time.  We love them!
