Lily turned three last month. She and Grace were actually really awful that day and she almost didn't even have a cake. Luckily Jason came home and saved the day with brownies and frosting.
And luckily Grandma Ard had sent us home with a couple of gifts so she would have something to open on her birthday since I was in no mood to wrap the presents I bought her. I sound like a terrible mother.
Love these wall decals from Grandma Ard for her room. We bought some for Grace's room earlier and I think they are a genius idea to spruce up a room without painting, etc. We found ours at Target.
I am always so charmed by Lily and her friend. Love those butterfly wings while sitting on the trampoline while playing on the computer.
Grace is learning the art of peek-a-boo in the middle of the kitchen!
There she is!
Family friends taking time out of their winter vacation to visit us.
A trip to Norwalk and the Stepping Stones Museum. I gave up trying to get her not to put things in her mouth.
We also visited Stew Leonard's. Check out the dancing vegetables behind Grace!
Snow, snow, snow. We have been dumped on over and over and we've loved it. We have built snowmen, snow families, a fun slide to go down when the snow turns to ice.
Love this picture of our house. Jason loves the snow. I won't post all the other pictures he took from every angle. He he he.
Even though Lily's birthday wasn't so great, I am loving three. I feel like she is really getting things. We took her to this little concert put on by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and beforehand they could try different instruments. I would love for her to play some sort of string instrument. Hoping this is priming the pump:) She's also taking swimming lessons and loving them. I love three!
The aforementioned slide Jason built. Complete with friends to share it.
Gracie taking her turn down the slide.
They also loved this cheap game of hockey. They never played it in the summer. I guess they even knew the season wasn't right for it. They kept saying, "hockey, hockey, hockey" over and over again.
Grandma Miller sent this huge bear for Valentine's Day. I think this is every kid's dream. I remember wanting to win a huge stuffed animal whenever we'd go to Lagoon. Now they have something else to jump on along with Jason.
Lily helping Jason shovel one morning after a snowstorm. She loves helping. We are trying to capitalize on it while we can.
Play doh that Grandma Miller also sent for Valentine's Day and that kept Lily occupied while I was sick last weekend. Jason wanted to take her outside but said he couldn't get her away from the play doh.
The girls by the lamp post. I love that we have a lamp post.
