Thanksving Day

1. Wake up: 4:50 am
2. Drive to train station and by train tickets: 5:29 am
3. Arrive at Grand Central Station and take pictures of me: 6:35 am
4. Then take picture of Jas: 6:36 am


5. Arrive at Central Park: 7:07 am

6. Wait 2 hours for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to start and get to know people around us (some from Utah, New Jersey, and Washington state): 7:07 am-9:00 am

7: Wave hello to Smurf: 9:15 am


8. Have a heart attack realizing that Miley Cyrus (aka HANNAH MONTANA) is on the float right in front of my face: 9:32 am



9. Have a second heart attack realizing that David Archuleta is on the float right in front of me waving while speakers blare songs he has recorded: 9:41 am

10. Tell Jason to take a picture of the Manhattan temple. I love that place: 10:08 am

11. After 4 hours of walking and standing, we decide to buy 2 hot dogs and 1 pretzel before returning on the subway: 10:15 am.


12. Pigeons sighting 10:15 am.
13. Nap: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.


14. Eat dinner/give thanks at this incredible house/room/table (Jason has a first cousin once removed and several second cousins, as he likes to call them, that we ate with): 7:30 pm
15. Play some matching game: 10:00 pm
16. Sleep: 11:30 pm.

Ashlee, what a fun Thanksgiving! By the way, this is Mindy. Ashlee, send me your mailing address! That is awesome you got to go to the parade and still swing Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon.

Where there are smurfs, there is also Gargamel. I loved that cartoon. Did you get charged $20 for the hot dogs and pretzel? Mom got quite the deal in DC as I recall.

What a fun Thanksgiving! It looks like you two are having some great experiences out there. I love your blog - you always make me smile. And you and Jason are quite the cute couple!

I would love it if you came and baby sat!! If that's not a problem, just fly on in, I need someone for about three hours a day Monday thru Friday.

Hey Ash! Sounds like a fantastic Thanksgiving. We went to the parade last year...so fun. Miss you. Are you coming to Utah for Christmas? If so, we should get together...let me know
