We love the night life, dee da da da da

Jason has been dying (well, maybe not dying) but wanting to go to Wicked ever since my family and I went and I showed him all the cool YouTube footage of the songs. So for his Christmas present, that's what we did, and just in time...January 31st!
We ate at Grand Central Station and Jason got a picture of the building with the Chrysler building behind it.

Just before the performance at Gershwin Theatre.

The "cultural phenomenon"is referring to the play, not me;)
P.S. I'm wearing all my street vendor gear that I bought along the way...hat and scarf.

Times Square picture on our way home. Jason enjoyed the performance. He's so funny - he doesn't get overly excited about things like I do. But when I said, "Did you like it?" He replied, "Yeah." So, there you have it, folks.

Jason ought to have said more than "yeah". Wicked tickets are hard to come by. Even Steven couldn't get any when Daniel and Jenny were in New York and he knows people in the show. HE loves Wicked. Good gift idea. I am glad you guys braved the NY night life.

You crazy kids! Going wild with the NYC night life. I can totally picture it.

Love the scarf, Ash. You are cute as a button, as always. Glad Wicked was a success.

I'm so glad Jason liked Wicked. We are going in May and although I tell Boyd I can find someone else who would like to go with me, he insists that he is excited about it and wants to go. So if Jason likes it, I'm sure Boyd will too. I just wish we were going to see it in NYC, but I can't complain. It'll be fun to see, wherever we are!

Hey Ash, that's funny you saw Wicked on the 31st...I went with a bunch of girlfriends on the 30th! But in Louisville. So, how many productions of Wicked are there that tour throughout the country? Yeah, Ben isn't very expressive either when it comes to...well, a lot of things! I'm always telling him he needs to act more excited and then he's gets all smart alecky and says stuff like, "Oh my gosh! Totally!" That's sweet that Jason went with you. No matter how much I talked up Wicked I don't think I could ever get Ben excited about it...him being in the army and growing up with all brothers, he never exactly go into theater. So, I saw your bro the other day at Dennis' wedding reception. Did you know he got married? It was great to see Travis. He is so funny. I"m starting a sewing class too! I haven't sewn anything since the good ole days of jr. high home ec. Didn't you have that class with me? I'm pretty sure you did. We made those pencil cases. What was our teacher's name? Can't remember. I miss you!!!
