Guess who came to visit?

DAD!!!!

First, we went to another Yankees game. I think it's becoming a tradition of a family who doesn't even like the Yankees. Dad thought it necessary, however, to see the new stadium, which is very cool.
The next day we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and ate at Grimaldi's pizza. It's supposed to be really delicious, but I like my whole wheat pizza better.

If you click on this picture you can see the statue of liberty behind us. My Uncle Ken and cousin Jake also visited us, and they are so fun, and I'm not just putting that because they're family...they really did make me laugh!

Afterwards, we went to the Bronx Zoo. Me riding a camel was about as exciting as it got. We arrived pretty late in the day, so I'm not sure where all the animals went, but all we got to see was this camel, a bunch of gorillas, and a crane, and the usual peacock making its rounds as little boys tried scaring it. My camel's name was Nicky.

Jason wanted to ride a camel, too.
I don't have pictures for the rest of our adventure, but we got to see the 6 barges of fireworks on the Hudson River for the 4th of July. It was a real treat for me as I was almost done with the book 1776 (a MUST read). And the next day Jason went to the Intrepid exhibit with Uncle Ken and Jake while Dad and I traipsed all over New York City hitting all of Dad's must see stores (e.g. Macy's, Sak's, Tiffany's, Bloomingdale's).
WE MISS YOU! COME BACK SOON!
