Especially the earthly kind. You know the ones, like old visiting teachers and friends who offer to throw you a baby shower knowing you've just moved out of a place you've lived for 3 1/2 years and a huge event is going to take place in your life (i.e. having your firstborn child).
The theme was "How Tweet It Is." They were so creative and had the guests write things they wish for baby and mom and hang them on the tree.
The food was DELICIOUS. I could go on and on about Lizzy's salad and coconut dipped cupcakes. And do you see those pink deviled eggs? Beet juice, my friends. Only Colleen would add such a sweet touch.
And cookies for ALL to take home. And LOTS of leftover ones that I don't even want to tell you how quickly they were gone when we got home.Thank you for all who helped out and came. YOU were too good to me...
