Flavia de Luce: My Newfound Friend

I'm always on the lookout for reading treasures, and I think I found one this summer. Anyone heard of the book The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley?
It is about Flavia de Luce (an 11-year-old girl) who loves making poisons and is trying to solve a murder mystery in 1950 England.
I have literally been laying on the floor (as Lily rolls around) and laughing my head off at Flavia's personality.
The author even has more in his Flavia series. If you are interested, his website is http://www.flaviadeluce.com/. You will not be disappointed.
One of my favorite lines from the book:
"Will someone not rid us of this turbulent pastry cook!"
She is so dramatic.
