Robbed!
That's right. You read correctly. It happened on a Saturday, but the story actually begins Friday night. Dad was already not too happy because he had been cleaning out the fridge and dropped one of the drawers. It shattered on the ground. When he started looking on the internet for prices his jaw dropped when he found it will cost the Ard family about $100 to replace. Below is Dad's "not too happy" face.
On Saturday morning, however, Dad decided to go for a walk with me (Lily) to get a fresh start on the day. He also took the camera to get pictures of the water lilies that are usually only open in the mornings.
He left my stroller on the side of a fast road (about 15 feet away from him) to snap a few shots of these water lilies. While doing so, he heard a couple car doors slam but thought nothing of it until he turned around a minute or two later, and gone. The stroller was no longer on the side of a fast road about 15 feet away from him.
Luckily, this little girl (me, Lily) was in her car seat by him while he was snapping the pictures. That put him another $50 in the hole for the weekend. Mom initially felt sick to her stomach thinking about what could have happened, but after the sick feeling left, she just laughed. Dad has a penchant for losing/breaking things, and so this wasn't much of a surprise.
Then on the way to our church family day activity, we were held up because of a wreck. We weren't too happy.
Just kidding. It actually didn't turn out to be as bad as it could have. I slept for most of the time in my car seat (that wasn't stolen!). It lasted an hour so we got outside with our fellow travelers to snap a few photos. Mom said she felt like she was in the Monk episode where Monk gets stuck in traffic, except there wasn't a murder. Our ordeal just had a stolen Gaylord Drug Rehab van (hey, they were robbed, too!) that zoomed past all of the stopped traffic (including us) and ended up crashing into a tree shortly after...but that's another story.

Thank goodness it was only the stroller ... and not the stroller AND Lily! Lily is becoming more and more and more adorable (if that's possible!) Such a sweet little girl!
I'm so so glad that everyone is ok! Lily is so cute.
